PIAM is one of the capacity building institute of Agriculture Marketing, Agriculture Department. It was established in 2009 to ameliorate the capacity building framework of agriculture marketing on modern lines. PIAM is engaged in strengthening the Agriculture Marketing system through capacity building of stakeholder’s i.e. staff of agriculture marketing wing, market committees, growers and market functionaries. For this purpose, PIAM organizes workshops, seminars, online trainings through zoom and also publishes reports on various issues of agriculture marketing.This institute also conducts trainings for growers, traders and other stakeholders to enhance profitability in every business, understand the market signals, reduce post-harvest losses, increase value addition, compliance of the quality standards and understand changes in the world market.
